USAutomatic Ranger 500 Series Single Swing Gate Opener
The Plug N Go design of all installed components and the easy-to-understand Ranger control board make this the simplest gate opener for the do-it-yourself installer. The Ranger 500 linear actuator can be mounted in two different positions, making it less visible behind a cross member and enhancing the appearance of your gate.
The Ranger 500 automatic gate opener is powered by a 12-volt DC battery (not included). This battery is charged by the supplied transformer, which requires AC power (120 VAC) to be located either at the gate area or within 1,000 feet of it. If the AC power is more than 10 feet from the gate opener's control box, additional extension cable is required.
The automatic gate opener's solar charging method is optional and requires a solar panel kit (sold separately) for proper operation. Typically, only one panel will be needed. The Ranger single swing gate opener is capable of a high number of cycles per day. Ranger's solar performance is a unique and unmatched offering in the market, providing up to 65 cycles per day with standard solar panel.
