The GTO/PRO SW3000XL will operate a gate up to 16 ft. (4.9 m) long and weighing 650 lbs. (294.8 kg) each leaf if all proper installation procedures have been followed. Ball bearing hinges should be used on all gates weighing over 250 lbs. (113.4 kg).
The GTO/PRO SW3000 Single Opener is a practical system that allows for easy installation. The low voltage design allows the customer to use a household outlet within 1,000 ft. of the operator by running a 16-guage low voltage cord between the two. For customers who are eco-friendly, or who wish to save on electrical bills, it is also possible to use a solar panel to charge the battery. The GTO/PRO SW3000's oversized control box can hold two 7 amp/hour batteries (second battery not included). This means the unit has the capacity for extra power storage for solar power, as well as for higher opening cycle situations.
Aside from being practical, this unit is also versatile. Useful for residential situations, this opener can be used with gates constructed from a variety of materials, including farm tubing, steel, aluminum, wood, and chain link, along with many others. Likewise, the GTO/PRO SW3000 can be enhanced with a push-to-open bracket accessory (not included) to push the gate open away from the property, while the arms remain mounted on the side closest to the property. Finally, this model is compatible with GTO Inc.'s complete line of accessories including keypads, transmitters, exit wands, gate locks, solar panels, etc.

- Soft Start/Soft Stop: Soft start/soft stop is a feature in which the control
board, during the set up process, learns where your opening and closing points are
for the swing of the gate. Then during normal operation the gate operator
automatically slows the motion of the gate to smoothly meet with the gates
destination point. This feature can also be turned off. Open and Close times from 18
to 20 seconds
- Learn Mode: With the GTO/PRO 3000XL the learning process, the end points are
determined by the user via remote. A simple press of the transmitter tells the opener
where to stop and when the opener is set to the desired stop points, save the
settings on the board.
