The Patriot RSL is the most efficient slide gate operator in the industry. It easily mounts to a pad or post and features a simple and convenient manual release knob, along with easy-to-adjust limit switches.
The Patriot RSL operator is powered by a 12-volt DC battery (not included). This battery is charged by the supplied transformer, which requires AC power (120 VAC) to be located either at the gate area or within 1,000 feet of it. If the AC power is more than 10 feet from the gate opener's control box, additional extension cable is required.
The automatic gate operator's solar charging method is optional and requires a solar panel (sold separately) for proper operation. Typically, only one panel will be needed. The Patriot RSL is designed for gates with 24 feet of leading edge travel if solar charged, or for gates with 32 feet of leading edge travel if AC charged. Any accessories added to your gate opener must be solar-friendly and will be identified as such. The Patriot control board is the replacement circuit board for the Patriot gate operators. It includes a number of user-friendly features and serves as the same control board for both single and dual Patriot gate operators, working for both slide and swing gates. The control board also features sensitivity adjustment capabilities that can be used independently on Gate 1 and Gate 2, eliminating the need to constantly adjust the settings. Other features include 13 LED troubleshooting lights and a 5 year warranty for the control board.
