The Apollo 7000UL Single Slide Opener is a practical system that allows for easy installation (professional installer recommended). Because this opener uses a low voltage charge, it is unnecessary to run 110AC to the gate. Also, the low voltage design allows the customer to use a household outlet within 1,000 ft. of the operator by running a 14-guage low voltage wire between the two. For customers who are eco-friendly, or who wish to save on electrical bills, it is also possible to use a solar panel to charge the battery with the same wire. The Apollo 7000UL's large-sized NEMA 3R control box can hold a larger battery than many other units. This means the unit has the capacity for extra power storage with a deep cycle battery (not included), providing enough energy for up to 300 cycles (1 foot per second), or approximately 30 days of use before the necessary recharge. It is also more durable, as it protects the unit from the elements.

In addition to the Apollo 7000UL's low voltage convenience and eco-friendly options, the unit is designed for convenience and versatility. Because it can be mounted on nearly any side of the gate, as well as operate on either pull or push to open functions, the unit can be installed to fit the design of the customer's property.
