US Automatic Ranger 500 Dual Swing Gate Opener/ DIY bolt on brackets

Proudly manufactured in the USA, the Ranger 500 Dual Swing Gate Opener is the simplest gate opener for the Do-It-Yourself installer with plug n go design of all installed components and an easy to understand Ranger control board. It can be mounted to 2 different positions behind the cross member which makes the look of the gate even better.

This unit requires a 12-Volt DC battery (not included) and is charged by an AC power (120 VAC) plugin transformer (Included). This transformer can be installed up to 1000' within the gate area. An additional extension cable is required if the power is more than 10' away from the opener control box.

The Ranger 500 gate opener is solar compatible (sold separately). This unit can provide incredible performance with a standard 6 Watt solar panel. With a fully charged battery, this unit can operate up to 65 cycles per day. Cycles may vary depending on the solar zone you're located in. We do recommend to check our solar region map to choose the correct solar panel that better fit your application.

U.S. Automatic Ranger 500 gate openers come with bolt-on brackets that will require additional maintenance to keep them secure. To provide the correct support, and to fasten the linear actuator mount, we recommend installing the brackets using carriage bolts, lock nuts, and washers (Do Not Use Lag Type Bolts). Loose or unsecured installation of linear actuator mount will cause the unit to fail and not properly operate.
