The Estate Slide E-SL 1800 Low Voltage Single Operator is a reliable system that allows for easy installation. The low voltage design allows the customer to use a household outlet within 600 ft. of the operator by running a cord between the two. Similarly, the low voltage transformer ensures that the opener will function consistently; other systems run on a trickle charged system, meaning the batteries are the main source of power, and should the stored power be used before they recharge, the opener will not function. With the E-SL 1800, however, the batteries are merely back up in case of a power outage. In addition, this unit has roller/spring limit switching, which means that when the track reaches the limit on the side of the unit, it triggers the stopping points of the gate, making it easy to install.
Aside from being practical, this unit is also versatile and durable. Suggested for residential situations with driveway gates, this opener can be used with gates constructed from a variety of materials, including light steel, aluminum, wood, and chain link, along with many others.
